This hidden iMessage feature works best for short messages, as the space provided for the notes is quite small. To use this feature, follow these steps:

- Tap on the typing field and rotate your iPhone. If you’re using an iPad, you don’t need to rotate your screen.
- You’ll find the handwriting scribble icon next to the mic button in the bottom-right corner of the keyboard. Tap on it.
- Write or scribble your message using your finger and tap on Done to send the message.
That’s it. You’ve successfully sent your first handwritten message from your iPhone. At the bottom of the handwriting screen, you’ll find your last 24 handwritten messages as Recents if you regularly use this feature.
