Dragonball Tenkaichi 4 is Real And It’s On The Way.

Overview…
It's been sixteen years since Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and thirteen years since Raging Blast 2. And in that time us Dragon Ball fans have waited, hoped, and prayed for a Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4. Yet after four to five years of waiting I gave up.
That's not to say I don't like the Xenoverse games, as I adore Xenoverse 1 and will play Xenoverse 2 when I get a PS4. The same goes for Dragon Ball FighterZ, as I will play that too when I get a PS4.
But a proper follow up to Tenkaichi 3? Again I gave up on that ages ago. I figured either the developers weren't invested enough, or maybe Raging Blast 2 didn't make enough money to warrant a follow up. So there was no point in waiting anymore for me.
And yet on March 5th 2023, we got a teaser announcing Tenkaichi 4. And I lost it with the rest of the fandom, as my hopes were resurrected. Then, two days ago(as of me typing this) we got an official trailer for it.
A tidbit of info for those confused by the title you saw though. In Japan Budokai Tenkaichi 1 was called ‘Sparking,’ Tenkaichi 2 was called ‘Sparking Neo,’ and Tenkaichi 3 was called ‘Sparking Meteor.’ That's why this game was titled ‘Sparking Zero,’ meaning it'll most likely be called ‘Tenkaichi 4’ in the states.
But with that tidbit aside, the trailer featured Goku fighting Vegeta, Freeza fighting Vegeta, and Broly fighting Goku. The gameplay featured in the trailer was reminiscent of previous Tenkaichi titles with updated graphics. The super attacks also looked very devastating as expected from this series. The trailer also gave us quick cuts of Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Android 18, Trunks, Cell, Hercule/Mr. Satan, Buu, Bergamo, Park Ranger Android 17, and Jiren. Implying that they will be on the roster, but this might be the biggest Dragon Ball fighting game roster yet.
Dragonball Z:Sparking Zero will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. And I'll keep my eyes out for any further details regarding this game.
