2. This American Life

This American Life began as a radio show that you can still listen to now, but it has since evolved to become an incredibly popular podcast. The weekly show centers on a random theme or intriguing story that’ll leave you laughing and sometimes sobbing.

Sure, it’s not a podcast about relationships, but it’s easy to see why This American Life has over two million people downloading its podcast episodes.

3. My Favorite Murder

Calling all true crime addicts! Without question, My Favorite Murder podcast is going to be your new favorite listen. This podcast discusses infamous and lesser-known true crime stories and unsolved mysteries, including serial killers, shootings, kidnappings, cult murders, and lots more.

4. Stuff You Should Know

Stuff You Should Know is probably one of the most interesting podcasts on this list. What makes it so fascinating is the variety of subjects it covers, from the D. B. Cooper heist to the Easter Island civilization.

Each weekly episode is hosted by good pals Josh and Chuck, who bring some humor to the topics but still give you the facts you want to know. They also have a Stuff You Should Know YouTube channel if you’d prefer to watch the weekly episodes.

5. Serial
