How to post on Instagram from your desktop

Instagram has had a slew of new updates recently, from being able to add music to your Instagram notes (if you actually use those), to including up to five links in your bio now. One much-requested update came a few years ago though — having a viable way to post via your desktop or laptop.
Launched globally in October 2021, the feature allows creators to post photos or videos via their web browser. The response to this was overwhelmingly positive, with many creators saying this was the update they’d actually been waiting for.
